My approach to photography is simple and non-invasive. Giving you the freedom to be yourselves, while also providing guidance along the way.
My goal is to deliver a gallery that you can look back on and feel every emotion. I believe images that tell a story are more powerful than the perfect ones.
There’s no need for perfect poses, perfect weather, perfect outfits, or a perfect location to capture a memory. It’s about a snapshot in time - those photos that allow you to hold a feeling in your hands.

the details
It's not just about showing up for updated photos. After booking, we’ll get together, create moodboards, and plan the session story prior to our date. We can go out for a drink, get a bite to eat, hang out at your home, or have a picnic at the park you love visiting… it can go in so many different directions! Your story is unique and you deserve photos that capture the essence of who you are. Helping you plan is my favorite part, so I’ll be here to assist in every step of the way.
the experience
I'll guide you when necessary by providing general prompts to help you get comfortable (no need to worry about what to do with your hands), but mostly we’ll just hang out and let the magic happen. The guide included in my packages go over everything you need to know on how to prepare for our time together!

We'll meet up at the location address about 5 minutes before our session time begins. I like to walk and talk with my couples before holding up a camera so I can get to know both you and your partner. Let's skip the awkward handshake and I'll avoid the stuffy, professional "business woman" vibe. I can't expect you to be yourself around someone who's uptight! After we've chatted, we'll start our session and have tons of fun. This will not be a dreadful long hour smiling at a camera. I promise time will fly faster than you think.
The day of our session

After booking, I'll send over the Session Guide included in your package to start the planning process together! This is full of information on how to plan, what to wear, how to tell your story, getting in the right mindset, location recommendations, etc. Then about two weeks before our session, I'll send over a questionnaire to get some ideas flowing.

When you're ready to book, I'll send over a customized proposal which includes a contract and invoice to book your session. I require a 30% non-refundable retainer and signed contract upon booking. Once both of those have been submitted, your date will officially be reserved on my calendar! The remaining 70% is due 7 days prior to the date of our session.

Fill out the inquiry form on my contact page so we can get the conversation going! I'll send over an email full of all the information you need to know along with my availability so we can get a date picked out. I usually respond to all inquiries within 48 hours on business days.

My turn around time for when you receive your final gallery is 3-4 weeks.
When do i receive my images?
Yes!! Film is included in my two hour package, but can be added on to a one hour session as well :)
do you shoot on film?
We’ll get together and figure out how we can tell your story as authentically as possible. I send over a Session Guide after booking to help get your creative juices flowin’. This is full of advice about outfits, getting in the right mindset, how to plan a storytelling session, location recommendations, and more!
what is the planning process like?
Yes, and I love it!! Travel is included in the package price if the distance to the location is within a 40 mile radius from where I'm based. If farther, a travel fee will apply to cover time and fuel.
Do you travel?
No, I do not deliver RAW files under any circumstance. All of your images will be delivered in a high quality format using my current editing style. If you don’t love a photographer’s editing style, you should probably look for someone with a similar taste to yours!! My style is very true to color, natural, and nostalgic.
do you deliver raw files (unedited images)?
Yes, a print release is included in every gallery so you can print as many high-res photos as you’d like! The gallery delivery service that I use has its own online store that you can order high quality prints from!
are we allowed to print the photos?
